This is my own opinion.
Thank god that guy is out. I was watching a show last night on PBS and apparently he was involved with Vietnam war as well.
Do you guys see a connection: Vietnam war = US Failure, Iraq war = US failure.
I think he got fired by Bush since they lost the election.

President bush can't fire sh*t. You meant to say Rumsfeld got fired by Carl Rove.
I'm telling you Watch 'DARK SIDE' its on frontline website. its free. Vice-President and Rumsfeld created a fake report on Iraq.
Anyway to fire the VP?(...or better yet the P?)
P can fire VP; no one can fire P unless he gets impeached for violating rules... we cant just change Ps as we please, 'we' voted for him to be a P and everyone knows that its a 4-yr term. so he's going to be the P whether u like it or not... so will the next one u vote for. so remember, vote! but educate yourself on the candidate's agenda before u do... right now, the P and his group may be 'chuts' but that dont mean republican party is such... both dems and repubs have their own strength and weaknesses and its up to you to decide which 'chut' u want ruling your country :)
OOOO... I forgot to mention, the decision of Rumsfeld was already made before the election, Republicans were keeping it close until the results are out. If they would have fired or so called resinged him, republicans would have won 0 seat in congress.
P cannot fire VP, as VP is also a elected officer.
