I want to work for Reliance

Well Mukesh Ambani just ordered 40 Audi Q7(?) SUV for top management at Reliance. Apparently they were all using Mercedes S500 so far but now Mukesh has decided to replace Mercedes with Audi. Lucky folks. I guess they deserve it.

On the side note: Indian just received their first new Airbus for their fleet.

More later.

Sounds good, but there must some price the workers are paying to get this kind of a perk. 'You never get something for nothing.'

yes, they do deserve it. Reliance is undoubtedly one of the best managed and biggest companies in India.

but whats the point in owning an Audi Q7 when the best roads you have are the 'typical Indian roads'... guess its just a 'status in the society' thing.

tata steel is buying corus group for some 8 billion to make it one of the top 5 steel company... had to, after the mittal group bought arcelor few months back to become the biggest steel group... between mittal and tata, they'd own like 25% of the total steel reserves on earth!

I heard about mittal. It was long tough negotiations for mittal to get arcelor since arcelor bought another german company and raised it stock prices and dividents so they could reject the offer of mittal since according to them it was "hostile" but i guess they finally gave up on it. They even got some russian billionair to back them up to withdraw mittal's offer but no luck
