Delhi Airport upgrade
Hi folks,
This is what Financial express has to report on the expansion of Delhi Airport. How about Mumbai airport?

Finally someone is doing something about the airports. There is a similar plan for Mumbai airport but I do not have the details. Will post as soon as it is available.

Aren't they moving the Mumbai international airport outside of Mumbai and leaving the domestic one where it is?
I hope not. If they dothat, then it wil be a nightmere for people to travel to and from and between the airports. if they do that, they are calling for disaster.
Hopefully they will clear out the scums around the airport and use that space to make the airport bigger.
Well they might still keep the shuttle service bewteen the airports even if the international one is out of town. Even if they do plan to move it out, it'll still be a while before its operational.
oh beleive me Dish, the only way you can get from the current airport to the new airpot outside the city is with a high speed direct train. Traffic is extremely horrible in mumbai. I know because i have seen the new airport sight and by car it takes about 1.5 hours to get from one to another. I have driven in and out of mumbai lot of times. The only optionis high speed direct train or a direct highway with no exits. Well lets see what happens. If they do move it outside the city, it will be a hell for us travelling from Rajkot or Gujarat for that matter.
